One of our favourite bars opens up their own wine cellar

The ritual is well rehearsed: every 6 months or so a consort of journalists are invited to have a tipple from the Fulgurances wine cellar - we feel like teenage pop star groupies.

Continuing the high spirits, we appreciate that this bar is much like its big brother: a nonchalant and understated cool vibe, decorated with wood, wood and more wood and of course some pretty flowers. The gluttonous wine train goes on, as behind the counter is the resident wine conoissseur. We dive in on the primitivo and before you know you've ordered 2 bottles. Not to mention the delicate bourgogne from the young Fanny Saber vineyard.

With suitable food to line your stomach such as the Becky's mayo eggs with fried leeks and squash seeds, or tomato salsa marinated squid or even the sausage, pickles and mustard brioche . This dig certainly has the tastes and the vibe to match - you'll crash back down to earth on the metro home.
