Time Out says

4 out of 5 stars

An unpretentious bar serving cocktails and Brazilian tapas near Chateau d’Eau.

Jesus walks among us! Well, Jésus Borges does anyway, founder of Brazilian restaurant/ bar Jésus Paradis. The place is simply decorated, with orange and red neon lights illuminating the bar’s unpretentious settings – think monastic modesty rather than Vatican-style grandeur. We go for a Péché de Jesus (Jesus’ sin), a well-balanced tequila based concoction with ginger and lime, followed by the (less original) Paradis - which turns out to be a gin-based mojito (cocktails are €5.50 at happy hour, €7.50 otherwise). And the Cruzcampo beer - more flavoursome than a standard lager - is the perfect accompaniment for our Brazilian tapas (€14): prawn fritters, cheesy bread, rice balls and minced meat – good (if not particularly healthy) food which proves ideal for soaking up the evening’s alcoholic sins.
