Time Out says

SNCF has never looked so good. After Ground Control and the Station, we’re fully on board with artistic spots in abandoned train stations. Head to Corentin Cariou’s La Gare for some serious jazz. There are free concerts from 9pm daily, set in what used to be the station’s entrance hall, which works perfectly to accommodate the warm sounds of saxophones and trumpets.

There’s not a jot of elitism though and you can wander about during the session to grab a drink from the affordable bar: pints start at €5, most cocktails are €7 and you a plate of charcuterie weighs in at €11. Don't miss the exotic terrace looking out onto the gardens. This is the kind of spot you’ll keep coming back to.
