Campanile Morangis Orly
Time Out says
A motel-style stay that’s good for those travelling by car
If you’re planning to hire a car and want to save a few pennies, this presentable little two-star near Orly airport is a good option. There’s free parking and there are enough eateries and attractions within a short drive. Le Restaurant is the onsite dining room, where you’ll also find a buffet breakfast in the morning. Each of the 47 rooms, which are spread throughout a few buildings in the spacious grounds, are simply decorated, but clean, tidy and feature a TV, free wifi and en suite.
Neighbourhood: Across the Seine in Draveil is Port aux Cérises, a family-friendly leisure park with skate ramps, a lido, theme-park rides, a min train, min golf and an equestrian centre. François Truffaut cinema is a seven-minute drive away, while other activities such as go-karting, ice skating and swimming are a similar distance.
Port aux Cérises: For adventure seekers after a full day of rides, games and sports activities
Marché International de Rungis: For serious foodies who want to get their hands on the same produce as Paris’s prime restaurants
Parc de Sceaux: For a breath of fresh air in 180 hectares of beautifully manicured greenery
Time Out tip: Pets are welcome here but if you fancy bringing Fido, pop an extra €5 (per night) in your pocket.
