The T7 tram will get you from the airport to the slightly industrial surrounds of Orly Supérior in 20 minutes. Both the exterior and interior is dated, but suitably clean, well-presented and comfortable, and at less than €50 a night, it’s a bargain in the area. The rooms are all sizeable, with free wi-fi, telly and toiletries. You can order room service, or eat out at one of the many restaurants dotted about Athis Mons. If you’ve got a car then you can get to the southside of Paris in under 30 minutes.
Neighbourhood: Across the Seine in Draveil is Port aux Cérises, a family-friendly leisure park with skate ramps, a lido, theme park rides, a min train, min golf and an equestrian centre. Closer to the hotel – across the street in fact – is Essonne Doors public pool, while down the road is Carrefour shopping mall.
