Nadia Murano and Denis Nourry sure have friends in the right places. After working with Christian Lacroix to develop the hotel du Petit Moulin in the Marais, the duo launched a collaboration with an equally distinguished brand. Working with Dimore Studio's designers Britt Moran and Emiliano Salci, came Hotel Saint-Marc, just opposite Opéra-Comique.
The entrance hall is a refined combination of white and black marble, with powder pink walls and ultra-cosy sofas for relaxing. Art deco is combined with a retro vibe and the lobby feature glass and brass tables, sixties velvet armchairs and an honesty bar.
The rooms, of which 26 are suites, is where the zany Dimore Studio accents really come through. Unusual colour combinations (burgundy, mustard yellow, sky blue, pine green), objects (period table, tropical curtains, antique statues) and in materials like brass and lacquered wood. It might be a walk on the wild side but it works incredibly well.
