Founded by jewellery designer Arnaud Soulignac in February 2015, this cute store in the 9th arrondissement is a one-stop shop for gifts that don’t cost an arm and a leg. The well-curated collection features beautiful and unique creations by French and Belgian designers, and includes Soulignac’s own line of ‘origami jewellery’ – gold and silver necklaces, earrings and more made with delicate origami animals. You’ll also find vintage nautical-themed décor pieces in perfect condition (we spotted clocks salvaged from Japanese ferries and lights from Russian and Indian cargo ships).
Soulignac prides himself on presenting the works of talented young designers that he discovers at jewellery salons, as well as online via Instagram and Etsy. Next to each piece is a short biography of the creator, advising the visitor whether they’re looking at the stars of the moment or a name to know in the future. We loved the ‘Minime’ collection by the brand Hipp! (tiny figurines on necklaces and earrings, priced between €15 and €20), as well as the pop-coloured brooches by Tapam Tapam made using a 3D printer (€6).
