Manned by a Penangite through and through, you are guaranteed traditional Taiwanese delicacies at this restaurant as it is run by his Taiwanese wife. We really like the noodle dishes (the noodles here are handmade, mind you) and are especially fond of the steamed sandwich stuffed with stewed pork belly, pickled vegetables and a fried egg. If you're aiming for a decent rice set, try their three cup chicken (boiled with a cup of sesame oil, soy sauce and alcohol) flanked by a bowl of hot steamed rice.
