Uda dan Dara 2015

Penned by national laureate Usman Awang, Uda dan Dara 2015 is a re-telling of the 1972 musical about two star-crossed lovers. Hana Nadira plays Dara, a young woman from an affluent family while Uda, played by Mark Lim is a young man born into hardship; both equally shaped and driven by circumstance, yet both equally in love with one another. It is a story of love, transcending notions of wealth, class and - in this adaptation - culture and ethnicity.
