Today is the official first day of fall but in some weird twist of fate, it feels more like the middle of July—and it’s going to stay that way all weekend. Action 6 reports have temperatures in the mid to late 80s on Friday and Saturday and reaching as high as the early 90s by Sunday and on into Monday. It’s shore season again!

Thankfully the eerie, summer-like weather is happening in conjunction with a bunch of outdoor events in the city this weekend—including the Philly Cheesesteak and Food Fest at Citizens Bank Park, a pop-up beer garden at Schmidt’s Commons and a bunch of fall festivals, including one at Spruce Street Harbor Park where you’ll likely have to fight for a hammock to steal some shade under those trees.

Find our full list to what’s happening this weekend here. Or consider heading out of town to one of the pumpkin patches near Philadelphia, or a nearby farm to go apple picking near Philly. Whatever the case, wear lots of SPF, drink your water—and ride SEPTA. It’s free from 9am to 9pm on Sunday.
