Relentless Beats and Bassrush present the Bassrush Takeover featuring 12th Planet, LOUDPVCK, & Kove at the Monarch Theatre in Phoenix on Saturday, June 13 2015. This is an 18+ event.

John started over from scratch. After seven years touring the world as drum-n-bass maestro Infiltrata, after winning over icons such as Goldie and Photek, John Dadzie gave himself a new name, a new sound, and a new determination. It was 2005 and the gentile beatmaker was inspired by sounds he heard spun by the likes Technical Itch, Skream and Benga. It was dubstep. And it was his calling. Once 12th Planet is born, the story really begins. The British dubstep movement takes hold in LA thanks to 12th Planet and the events he aligns himself with; Smog, Media Contender, HARD, and his own club night Dubtroit. Like the mythological twelfth planet (popularized by controversial author Zecharia Sitchin), our 12th Planet flies perpendicular to the system. His wicked beats are off axis. His subsonic frequencies surround you in their own orbit. America’s first king of dubstep is ready for impact.

When the two worlds of electronic music DJs/producers Kenny Beats (aka Kenneth Blume) and Ryan Marks collided in 2009, something magical happened. This dynamic duo is best known as LOUDPVCK. They met at the Berklee College of Music (Boston, MA), started producing tracks together, dropped ‘em on Soundcloud and nearly that moment became an overnight sensation.

18 months ago only a select few knew who James Rockhill was. Now millions know him as Kove. Shortly after his first release, ‘Breach/Stellar,’ released on Matrix and Futurebounds’ Viper Recordings, RAM Records’ boss Andy C signed ‘Iodine/Open Ground’ to his new imprint Program Recordings. The track was featured on the legendary DJ’s Mixmag mix CD, which led to Kove being invited to play at RAM’s residency at London’s infamous club Fabric.
Bassrush is dedicated to providing an exceptional event experience for drum & bass and dubstep fans. At each event, they strive to provide cutting edge talent that keeps the audience moving all night, and create an atmosphere where everyone is able to enjoy Dubstep and Drum & Bass the way its supposed to be enjoyed: On a massive sound system with tons of people immersed in the thick vibes that are unique to broken beat events.

Monarch Theatre is a new nightclub in downtown Phoenix conveniently located across the street from the 3rd Street / Washington light rail stop. The 1000-plus capacity venue features a big room with a PK sound system second to none.
