Scottsdale Comedy Spot Comedy Club says
Sunday August 23 @ 12 noon

Advanced Improv:

Advanced improv: moving beyond a late night improv jam, building strong characters and moving into a cohesive group that creates magic on stage with cohesive scenes, and short form games that create an evening of entertainment.

The advanced workshop will focus on characterization in such structures as panel of experts, jeopardy, etc. Having a backstory to that character assuming full knowledge of that character, how do they walk, how do they talk, how do they react, etc. We will also explore the value of exits, and entrances. How can you enhance the scene, in character, moving the scene forward without just entering to get a “self-indulgent” laugh. We will also learn new structures not commonly being performed on stage.

All participants MUST sign-up via e-mail in advance to hold your spot! Space is limited. Cost is $100 per person.
Date: Sunday August 23. 12:00 p.m.
