Black & 25 In America Featuring Jeremy Gillett

Through the life stories of Big Man, Joshua Thomas Northington III, Darron and Marcy, University of Kentucky alumnus and Arizona State University MFA graduate Jeremy Gillett paints a picture of what it means to be Black & 25 in America. The play explores race, class, gender and identity through four distinct characters. Gillett presents each narrative with passion and a pitch-perfect voice for the pain, confusion and hope that emerges from each character’s story.
