Crash Course: Intro To Web says
For this introduction to web development workshop, no coding experience is necessary. We’ll start from scratch and end the day with a published website.

The workshop will introduce you to basic website structure and styling with HTML and CSS. You will learn how to version your work with git and publish a website to GitHub Pages. We’ll work with the command line, introducing you to a primary tool of developers and providing insight into the developer’s workflow.

Please plan on bringing a computer to the workshop. There’s a small bit of prep you’ll need to do beforehand that will only take a few minutes. We can walk through it with you in person if you run into any problems.

First, please download and install git on your computer: Second, if you don’t have a GitHub account, please create one: (don’t worry, it’s free!).
