Let's welcome Bobby Anime" Major to Arizona!

Bobby “Anime” Major is a young dancer from the Bedford-Stuyvesant/Bushwick section of Brooklyn. Who uses a mixture of popping and flexing to create a style, which reflects various moods of the human condition that audiences can relate to.
His first teacher was a dancer named Vibez, who in 2007 taught him how to Bone Break. After Vibez taught Bobby Bone Breaking, he was inspired to learn popping from Mike “Big Mike Supreme” Fields when he had witnessed him participating in a
dance cypher at the 2011 New York Throw-down. Under Mike’s tutelage he learned many fundamental aspects of popping which includes hitting, robotic dime-stopping, joint isolations, strobing, ticking, and stop motion/animation. And has remained a student ever since. He also appeared on So You Think You Can Dance for it’s 12th season, though he was voted off the show in the Vegas round he continues to practice his craft and hopes to make another impact for next year.

Bobby will be teaching a choreography which includes popping, locking, hip hop and contemporary. he will be working on the fundamentals of stretching techniques the basis and foundation of all the styles.

Tickets are $10 in advanced and $15 at the door.
