Join us on the second Sunday of each month for a whirlwind of great art and hands-on activities. Through the generosity of Discount Tire Company, the Museum opens for free on the Second Sunday of each month, with exciting activities, scavenger hunts, live performances, story time, free tours, and more. Each Discount Tire Free Family Second Sunday features an opportunity to learn about and make art with a featured local Valley artist, from muralists to dancers and more.

Open to the public from noon to 5 pm each month, Museum Members can bet the rush and enjoy a Member's Preview hour from 11 am- noon. Not a Member yet? Purchase your Summer Mini Membership ( to enjoy free visits to Phoenix Art Museum all summer long.

Don't forget that participants of the Maricopa County Summer Reads Program can earn an electronic badge for attending Discount Tire Free Family Second Sunday!

“Cool Jazz”

Listen to jazz written by the coolest of cool! Phoenix's leading jazz performance and education space, The Nash, located at 1st St and Roosevelt, presents an afternoon of Cool Jazz. Join this great quartet of local jazz musicians as they share the music of Dave Brubeck, Stan Getz, Dexter Gordon, and many more.
