Downtown Phoenix 300,000 Meals Challenge

CityScape Phoenix says
Currently, nearly 1 in 3 Arizona children live in poverty. Food insecurity is harmful to all people, but it is particularly devastating to children. Proper nutrition is critical to a child’s development. Not having enough of the right kinds of food can have serious implications for a child’s physical and mental health, academic achievement and future economic prosperity.

We’ve partnered with St. Mary’s Food Bank and the downtown Phoenix community as a whole to fight hunger with our 300,000 meals challenge. Our goal is to raise enough money and food donations by September 17th to feed 300,000 Arizonans in need.

All funds and food donations raised through this Downtown Phoenix community action project will support St. Mary’s Food Bank during Hunger Action Month.

CityScape will host a drive-up/drop-off food zone on Central Avenue between Washington/Jefferson on September 17th from 7am-7pm.
