Have you ever wondered how much work goes into dressing in this beautiful and exquisite attire?
Learn the technique and attention to detail by dressing in one yourself!
Our instructors from Tanko-Kai (Urasenke Chado Group), will help you with your rented or purchased Yukata (summer kimono), and show you the proper way to wear this exquisite piece of art.
The best part?
We will also photograph you at the Garden after the workshop and you become a living piece of art. Digital image will be sent to you for your memory.
This experience will grow your appreciation for the Japanese culture and arts, and would be great for individuals, mother/daughters, sisters, or even a bridal shower!
This is a truly unique idea and exiting experience for anyone who is interested in fashion and culture. We invite you to join in on the FUN!
Yukata rental price: $10
You will have a couple of Yukata and Obi you can purchase at the day of workshop.
