The event creator says
In the face of dwindling independent media and endless artistic compromise, here comes this event...

Its time to put our media where our mouth is. Independent culture has been run out of phx. While big media celebrates its appeal to the new generation, artists line up to fill the gaps between bud light bottles and political ads. Renting overpriced lofts to exist in a crippled and limited scene.

This event is a call for independent media makers in the greater Phx area.

We are attempting to create a coalition of media sources.
A combined effort, not one that implies community, just existence. One of many branches and trees and ferns and oaks and leaves and..

This meeting is just an introduction to the idea that we can use our techniques on a larger scale to effectively stand up against the things larger than ourselves. Each group can have a table or presentation or whatever.
