November Radiate Phx: Downtown Residential Rental Boom says
Downtown Phoenix is currently experiencing a substantial rental housing boom, with 1,217 of the 1,400 units under construction being apartments.

This month, we’ll meet at the Arizona Multihousing Association, where we’ll hear about residential projects that are contributing to that growth — specifically in the Evans Churchill Neighborhood of the Roosevelt Row Arts District.

This is the same RadiatePHX program that was scheduled for September, which was canceled last minute due to a massive storm and power outage. However, the topic was so important we brought it back for this month's event.

Tom Simplot, president and CEO of AMA, has invited members of the association to talk about why they’re excited to build in Downtown Phoenix, share project renderings, and discuss how their projects are going to interact with and become part of the community. There will also be a mini-expo featuring a variety of residential rental properties in downtown Phoenix.

Robert Hicks, Senior Vice President, Alliance Residential Company

Elizabeth Schloss, President of Operations, Baron Properties

Bryan Fasulo, Regional Property Manager, Pinnacle Property Management

The night will include drinks from a new beer and wine shop, Flowers Craft Beer & Wine, located on the corner of Fifth and Roosevelt streets. Plus, small bites by Matt’s Big Breakfast. Music will be provided by DJ Kim E Fresh. Special thanks to Audio Video Resources for providing A/V equipment and technical support.

Limited parking available on site. Bike, take transit (Central and Roosevelt Light Rail Station), or use meters.

Presented by Downtown Phoenix Inc., Downtown Phoenix Journal, and Phoenix Community Alliance — RadiatePHX brings great minds together every third Tuesday of the month to discuss topics important to Downtown.
