The Boy Who Drew Cats
Adapted for Stage by: Jamie Arakas
Translated by: Lafcadio Hearn

A boy grows up on a farm in rural 18th century Japan, but isn't suited to farm life. He knows it, everyone knows it. The cats he draws know it. So he's sent to study at a monastery, only to find out he's not suited to be a student either. His teachers know it, his fellow students know it. And again, the cats he draws definitely know it. It's not until he sets out on his own that he finds out exactly what he's supposed to do.
