We welcome everyone and hope you’ll share with us about your cultural background too! Visit the Genealogy tent and trace your own family roots. There will be so much to see and do! Artists will entertain throughout the day with their traditional and modern Scottish tunes. The wee lads & lassies area will entertain our younger visitors. Check out the 2015 Entertainers We will also showcase competitive highland dancing, pipe bands, heavy athletics, country dancing, historical re-enactments, vintage British car exhibitions and representatives of over 50 Clans Dogs on leashes are OK, but please be prepared to clean up after your pet. Scott Jeffers plays violin, guitar, oud and bazooki. Jason Weidm on drums is well known throughout the valley. Tyler Mount on banjo and guitar is amazingly talented. Followed up finally with Mark Neimeyer on bass guitar. Highland Way Highlighting Celtic music from Scotland and Ireland, with originals and the occasional popular cover, Highland Way creates the ultimate show. A native Scot, Brian Caldwell is well known for his wonderful ability to charm any crowd while his energetic and driving rhythm guitar blends flawlessly with the rest of the band. Joining Brian are Paul Graham Castellanos on fiddle, mandolin, guitar, banjo, Sharon Whyte, on accordion and keyboards, Bob Sale on percussion and drums, master of guitars Jim Soldi, and Glen Fisher on bass. Stoneybank Stoneybank are a Phoenix based group whose performances are focused on traditional music from Scotland, Ireland and America. The band members are Iain Walinck, Jane Hilton, and Corey Ticknor. Iain Walinck (right) was born and raised in Musselburgh, Scotland, and has been resident in the Phoenix Valley since 1996. He brings a mixture of both original and traditional Scottish songs and tunes, with instrumentation including vocals, guitar, bouzouki and harmonicas. Jane Hilton (center) is a locally renowned violinist and has been at the forefront of the traditional music scene in the Phoenix Valley for many years. She brings a beautiful mixture of both Scottish and Irish traditional tunes to the table along with a wonderful playing style which adds both warmth and vitality to the songs. Jane also sings harmony vocals. Corey Ticknor (left) hails from Winnipeg, Canada and is an outstanding multi-instrumentalist with an emphasis on mandolin, guitar, and vocal harmonies in this particular setting. Corey can rightly be described as something of a virtuoso performer, with an array of original tunes and a wonderful repertoire from Scotland, Ireland and America. John Allen & Patrick Holmes Special Perfomance by Celtic Women Also performing during the event will be a number of the singers who competed in our Arizona Celtic Women Concert in 2014. Appearing Throughout the Event Christopher Yates Christopher YatesWhether it's juggling, comedy, roving on stilts, medieval and restaurant theater characters or a hilarious live act compere/emcee, Christopher works the crowds like no other. No matter what the age, he wins everyone's hearts. Most famous at our event for portraying Woody McCloud - the world's tallest Scotsman - Chris also performs acts all through the grounds, and emcee's the ceremonies. Christopher Yates Website World Famous Rani "g" CHristopher YatesRani’s music journey began on the island of Cyprus where he began seeking the best selections: Hip-Hop, dance, house, sensual World Beat. His selections are an eclectic playlist honed by a dedicated artist. Sip a single malt in the Glenmo Lounge where Rani “G” features Gaelic, Celtic, Tribal and World Beat music.
