Walk Now For Autism Speaks says
How many steps do you take in a day? 1,000? 5,000? 10,000? Do you have any idea? According to Pedometer researchers and doctors, in a group of 200 people, the men took an average of 7192 steps per day while the women took an average of 5210 steps per day. What if each one of those steps could make a difference? Would you walk more?

We believe that every step counts and can make a difference. That is why Ken and Laura McElroy have teamed up with Walk Now for Autism Speaks and SARRC (Southwest Autism Research and Resource Center) for 3 Million Kids 3 Million Steps.

There are three million children affected by Autism in the United States. That means there are three million families living with autism and the challenges it presents. We want to show these families that they are not alone and help raise funds that will support vital research and top-quality programs that are changing the future for those who struggle with autism.

As Walk Chairs, Ken and Laura, are challenging everyone to raise $1 per step. With a goal of $3 million raised, every dollar and every step counts towards making a difference.

We are also inviting you to the join us at the Arizona Walk Now for Autism Speaks event on Sunday October 25, 2015 at Tempe Beach Park. You can join or designate your donation to help us reach our goal.
