Fiddler's Dream Coffeehouse says
Originally from Tennessee, Wes has played venues across the nation including San Diego, Manhattan, Louisville, Nashville and Portland OR, as well as Vancouver BC. His music varies widely from bluesy to tribal to acoustic rock. When performing live, this musical sorcerer evokes a new meaning of stage presence, channeling something cloaked and hauntingly mysterious. His richly complex, versatile and sometimes otherworldly voice and music are irresistibly spellbinding.

Speight is a bit of a musical virtuoso, playing harmonica, bass, synthesizer / keyboard, mandolin, and percussion as well as guitar. He has released 2 EPs and 3 full length albums: 2011's Lie & Wish, 2012's Hackneyed and 2014's Transmigration. His songs have been heard on various stations around the country including Lightning 100, WRVU, Seattle Wave Radio and Radio Crystal Blue. He is signed with Washington Street Publishing in Nashville, which represents some of Nashville's top songwriters (including those with #1 country songs, BMI, ASCAP, CMA, Emmy & Academy Awards). And he was just listed as one of the “Seattle bands to watch in 2015” by NadaMucho.com. A critically acclaimed and fast-rising talent, he will be touring in the U.S. and internationally.

Also tonight - Rosa Phoenix, of the Rosa Phoenix Art Studio, is a creative spark, artist, and teacher. She travels between the earthly realm and imaginary worlds through the transporting power of art, music, dance, stories and dreams. She's planning on doing some of her magical pen and ink on paper for this show! www.rosaphoenix.com

And! Enrique Blanco will be at the show as well, with a live model providing the canvas for his artwork; if there are folks interested, he may paint them as well, for a small recompense... Music and art meet tonight at Fiddler's Dream! Doors at 6:45pm, admission is $6.
