It's the most wonderful time of the year! Winter Walk SF has returned to take over two blocks of Stockton Street in the heart of San Francisco's Union Square. Winter Walk SF kicks off this Saturday, November 25th in yet another official sign that the holidays have arrived in the city. Blanketed in a festive fake lawn, the street in front of holiday shopping favorites like Macy's and the Apple Store will be completely closed to traffic and completely open to festive fun.

Through the month of December, Winter Walk will play host to such holiday fun as beer gardens, SPCA kitten and puppy play areas, Dickens carolers and the usual collection of exhausted husbands guarding the shopping bags.

Boudin Bakery, home to San Francisco's most famous sourdough, will host a special food cart on select weekends. Off the Grid will deliver an abundance of food truck snacking options - every day. And Macy's will feature totally adoptable and adorable kittens and puppies in their windows.

The Winter Walk SF calendar also includes something called "Reindeer scooters," which can only be a good thing.

In addition to the variety of pop-ups to look forward to, Winter Walk provides a safe space to relax with a cup of cocoa, an ideal meeting place for reuniting with shopping partners, and the best holiday people-watching to be found this side of the Mississippi.
