Love 'em or hate 'em, the Blue Angels are back this week for another year of death-defying shows in San Francisco.

The city transforms during Fleet Week, as men and women in uniform flood our streets and liven up our waterfront watering holes. The U.S. Navy Blue Angels’ spectacular aerial shows are the pinnacle events in a week jammed with amazing presentations, including the parade of ships (Oct 5) and Bark at the Park (Oct 6), where military and civilian K-9 units take over Duboce Park to strut their stuff.

When is Fleet Week?

Fleet Week takes place from October 1–7, 2018.

When is the Blue Angels show?

Look to the skies over the Embarcadero on Thursday, October 4 to see the United States Navy Blue Angels’ glorious (and loud) arrival in San Francisco from 1–5pm.

The Blue Angles will also perform Friday, Saturday and Sunday (October 5–7) from 12–4pm.

Where can I watch the Blue Angels?

They're pretty hard to miss. Head anywhere along the Embarcadero or to a high vantage point (like a rooftop or hilltop) to be close to the action. Box seats and VIP seats are also available.

When/What is the Parade of Ships?

Every year, the Navy sends a line of ships under the Golden Gate Bridge and past the waterfront for admirers to ooh and aah at. This year the parade takes place on October 5 at 11am. Once the boats drop anchor, you can go onboard, meet the sailors and explore the war ships.
