Although eel is both healthy and delicious, it's somewhat pricey. However, here at Yet Jip you can enjoy a good bowl of eel soup for only 6,000 won. They boil the bones and head of the eel for more than seven hours and they add bean paste, bean sprouts, sesame powder and more to the broth. The soup is mild and savory and thick like chueotang (loach soup). The side dishes served with the main dish are also quite good. Grilled eel marinated in special sauce and served with homemade pickled radish is another popular item here.
