All the trendsetters are shopping and they're shopping at these store right now. Don't miss out.

Official Holiday

Shopping

This new boutique is taking over Garosu-gil. One highlight of Official Holiday is that they’ve worked together with some of the hottest domestic designer brands. Eighteen Korean brands, such as ADER error, Mischief, Recto and FLEAMADONNA, have special collaborations with the shop that can only be found here. These specific items are 30–50% lower than the usual prices sold by these same brands. A variety of accessories,  cosmetic products, living items and clothes can all be purchased here.

JAJU

Shopping Arts, crafts & hobbies Sinsa-dong

Jaju used to belong to big-box retailer E-mart before pulling itself from the giant yellow building to explore its eco-friendly values to the fullest. Jaju not only produces products of craftsmanship, but thanks to its collaboration with E-mart, is adored by wallet-watching housewives for its realistic price tags. Often compared to MUJI for their similar philosophies, the flagship store in Garosu-gil is the biggest in the country.

Gentle Monster

Shopping

Beloved design store, Gentle Monster, which has its flagship store in Apgujeong, is planning to open a branch in New York City’s SoHo neighborhood. They are famous for decorating each of their stores with different concepts. For example, earlier last year in Saerosu-gil, the theme was “Kitchen,” and this past summer, it was decorated for “Home and Recovery,” presenting a European bedroom, built-in closet and bathroom. Anyone, including those who do not wear sunglasses or glasses, can have an interesting experience at Gentle Monster’s showroom, as it is more than just a showroom, but a playground and a gallery.

Massimo Dutti

Shopping Sinsa-dong

Massimo Dutti is a successful fast fashion brand (of the mother company that owns Zara and Pull & Bear) from Spain. It is a little costlier in comparison to Zara, but the brand uses more quality fabric and materials which justify its price range. If you identify yourself as modern and chic, Massimo Dutti is a great place for updating your wardrobe (its brand concept is business casual). They are great with leather, such as their leather skirts, jackets, shoes, belts, etc., which are not overly expensive and carry a classy feel. With the introduction of the brand, Massimo Dutti has chosen upscale Garosugil for their flagship store location. A clean suit is another good reason to head over there.
