12 or “Dolahak” by Athula Pathirana, based on the original play Twelve Angry Men by Reginald Rose, will go on boards at the Lionel Wendt at 6.45 pm on 16 December.
The play is about twelve jurors trying to reach a unanimous decision on a teenager who is accused of murder. If guilty, he will get the death sentence. Pathirana’s rendition of the play has thus far found good reception from theatre lovers across the country.
