Organised by the UNHCR and Sri Lankan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the film festival is conducted in relation to the World Refugee Day on June 20, 2017. The festival will begin with a drama production on June 20, 2017 at the BMICH and following that a series of movies are scheduled to be screened at the National Film Corporation Cinema Hall.

June 24 – Screening of 'Land in Sicht'; 1pm
June 24 – Screening of 'Le Havre'; 6.30pm
June 25 – Screening of Un Pease di Calabria; 1pm
June 25 – Screening of 'Babai'; 4pm
June 25 – Screening of 'Sonita'; 6.30pm
