Brooklyn, Belgium and Fjäderholmarna all under one roof. In December, beer hall Gränd opens in Söderhallarna.

Söderhallarna is getting a new XL-sized hangout. All nine restaurants in the new beer hall, Gränd, will have their own kitchens and beer selections, but beer is what brings everything together. Fjäderholmarnas Bryggeri, Nya Carnegiebryggeriet and American brewery Brooklyn Brewery will each open their own restaurant. The remaining space will celebrate German, Spanish, Belgian, British and Irish beer culture.
Behind the project is Space Development Group, which has previously created the food halls K25 on Kungsgatan, Teatern in Ringen at Skanstull and S2 in Mall of Scandinavia.
“We’ve been developing food halls for many years, but with Gränd we’re building the entire experience around beer in a way that hasn’t been done before”, says founder Ricard Constantinou.
After three years of renovation, Söderhallarna reopened in October with tenants including Bouillon and SIN Ramen. Gränd is another piece of the puzzle, with more venues set to open in stages.
Gränd opens in Söderhallarna, Medborgarplatsen 3 on Södermalm, in December 2026.
