1 Aug: Watch the Pride Parade in central Stockholm

After a week of Pride House, seminars and parties, everything culminates where it should: out on the streets. Nearly half a million spectators line the route, while the city more or less stops functioning for anyone who thought driving anywhere was a good idea.
And despite all the glitter, it remains as much a demonstration as it is a celebration. The day is about rights that should never be taken for granted. Unlike most other events this month, you won’t need either a ticket or your wallet. And the party continues long into the night, with countless Stockholm clubs hosting Pride-themed events.
The Pride Parade sets off from Norr Mälarstrand by City Hall at 13.00 before winding its way through the city. Free, of course.
