Day 1: Arrival & The Warm-Up

9:00 – Touch Down Sweden

You've arrived at Arlanda, in the country of forests, fika and global music hits. The airport is located a bit outside the city, and soon you can begin your Swedish weekend, but first – some advice:

Three things to know: First, here cashless is king – your best bet is to use phone apps or cards. Second, the town will be crowded; arrive early, plan ahead and book dinner reservations yesterday. Finally, fika is non-negotiable, so be sure to try the local pastries.

Besides that? Make sure to enjoy everything Stockholm has to offer and don't forget to snap a pic or two, you know, when you have the chance. Located on 14 islands, the city boasts gorgeous views of the water, a chic atmosphere, and a vibrant energy that truly comes alive when massive crowds gather for world-class music and events.

10:00 – Fast Track to the City Center

Speaking of planning ahead – the fastest, most stress-free way to get to Stockholm from the airport is the Arlanda express. Forget sitting in highway traffic – this train whisks you from the terminal to Stockholm Central in just 18 minutes flat.

Pro tip: Make sure to buy your tickets online before you arrive. Right now, the Arlanda express summer campaign hooks you up with a one-way ticket for just 199 SEK if you book it at least one day in advance. However … if you are travelling with friends you’ll unlock an even better group discount when travelling in a group of three or more. Plus, if you buy your tickets ahead of time, you can just head straight for the Arlanda express yellow entrance once you land – taking the fastest, most convenient route to Stockholm city.

Extra pro tip: On your way home, make sure to use the Arlanda express pre-check-in luggage service. The service is the ultimate travel hack and it's included in your Arlanda express-ticket. Zero check-in lines at the airport? Yes please!

10:18 – Arriving in the Capital

Step off the train and straight into the hustle of Stockholm Central – the city’s main transit hub. Now, you could haul your bags all the way to your hotel, but we’ve got a better idea. Instead, make a quick pitstop at the Arlanda express lounge and stash your stuff in their handy luggage lockers. Your hotel probably won't be open for check-in for another few hours anyway, so why waste precious time? Some of the city's best spots are within easy walking distance of the station, meaning you can start exploring the second you lock your locker. Pretty neat, right?

10:40 – Take on the tourist sights

From Centralen or T-C as it is also called, you’re within walking distance of some of the sightseeing heavyweights. Sure, they're a bit touristy – but knocking out the mandatory attractions right away frees you up to uncover the rest of Stockholm from a more local perspective.

To make the ultimate tourist trail from the station, aim for Drottninggatan, then take a detour to Kungsträdgården. Continue along the waterside towards the Royal Palace and then onwards through the winding alleys of Gamla Stan. Stop to buy an ice cream, and then head back via Vasabron, where you’ll get great views of the City Hall.

12:30 – Lunch – pick your flavor profile

Some of our favorite places downtown are Pelle P in Kungsträdgården with its nice patio, and Misshumasshu for great Asian fusion. Or, if you are looking for something both historic and a chance to taste some Swedish classics, go for Den Gyldene Freden in Gamla Stan, which has been feeding hungry Stockholmers since the early 18th century. For another quintessential Swedish eat, but on a more budget-friendly note, look for the herring wagon also located in Gamla Stan – crispbread and pressgurka (pressed cucumber) is next to mandatory, beets are optional.

15:00 – Get Cultured at Fotografiska

Ready for some world-class art? Head over to Fotografiska for their incredible photography exhibits. Perched right on the waterfront of the island of Södermalm, this acclaimed contemporary photography hub brings together thought-provoking exhibitions inside a stunningly converted historic industrial building. Oh and this just in – you can now take a boat to the museum from the castle or Nybrokajen.

Or, if you want an alternative itinerary for the evening, head over to the lush island of Djurgården and the Gröna Lund amusement park. It’s the perfect spot to grab a drink, play some arcade games, eat cotton candy, and enjoy yourselves. Trust us, seeing Stockholm from the classic swing ride against a backdrop of pink evening skies is knock-me-down beautiful.

17:30 – Pre drink at a roof top bar

Since you are already right in the area, walk over to Slussen, where a lot of exciting new restaurants have opened up this summer.

Take the elevator up to Pelago – a fantastic rooftop bar with excellent views. Other great places on Södermalm for a drink include Måsen, Celeste, Häktet and Riche Fenix. Looking for a great place for natural wine? Try Savant closer to the city center.

Or if you are closer to Östermalm and Norrmalm and thirsty for some waterfront views? Make a beeline for Strandbryggan or the outdoor patio at the Lydmar Hotel. It’s bound to be packed, but if you manage to get a seat, it is easily some of the most sought-after spots in town.

20:30 – Dinner

It’s summer and you’re on vacation – let's keep it continental and embrace a late dinner. We’ve already highlighted the Slussen area, which has tons of great spots.

But if you’re looking to try the calmer parts of town where the locals gather, use the iconic concrete landmark "Svampen" in Östermalm as your starting point. Walk north from there on Birger Jarlsgatan until you switch over to Roslagsgatan for some serious culinary sightseeing. You’ll be spoiled for choice with spots like Tosto, Tete, Landbyska Verket, Leche Negra, Las Brasas, Babette, Bastardo, Bord, and Prospero.

23:00 – Garden party at Eden

Hop on bus number 4 or grab a cab to head over to Smedsudden. Or, honestly, just take a scenic stroll down the Kungsholmen waterfront – at this hour, the sky will still have that magical, dusky blue glow. Eden is a massive open-air garden oasis hidden away by the beach that feels like a secret festival right in the city. With great DJs, outdoor bars, and a brilliant, laid-back party vibe right under Västerbron, it's the perfect way to bring a memorable end to your first night in Stockholm.

Day 2: Concert day!

9:00 – Get the vibe started with breakfast

Concert day, let’s go! You know what they say: a good day starts with a solid foundation. Luckily, Stockholm has a ton of stellar breakfast options. If you're on Södermalm, Svedjan and Drop Coffee are local favorites, while the all-organic Skeppsbro Bageri in Gamla Stan serves up great sandwiches made with freshly baked bread.

But if you really want to set the tone for an epic day? Why not go for something Latin American? Volca Coffee on Kungsholmen roasts its own beans, so if you're serious about your brew, this is a great place to go. Best of all, you can pair your morning cup with an array of traditional Latin American pastries and snacks – think flaky empanadas, decadent tres leches cake, and irresistible cheesy breads.

11:00 – Thrift store run in Södermalm

Want to amp up your look for tonight's concert? Head to the island of Södermalm and the streets around Mariatorget and Zinkensdamm. This is the heart of Södermalm’s vintage scene – an area unofficially known as Stockholm's slow-fashion district.

On and around Hornsgatan you'll find Beyond Retro, Judits and Herr Judit, Siv & Åke and the military/workwear paradise Broadway & Son. Nearby is also the famous Monteliusvägen, a small gravel walking path that offers stunning views of Stockholm.

Pro tip: Pick up an ice coffee on Baggio first.

12:30 – Time for lunch again

Still on Hornsgatan? Two great options that won't dig too big of a hole in your wallet are Falafelbaren, which offers the city's best falafel and an addictive amba sauce, and its almost-neighbor – the organic Kalf & Hansen. Aim for the vegetarian frikadeller or their famous tunnbrödsrulle, which comes with an artisan chorizo-style sausage, prawn salad, and homemade mash.

Lastly, if you want to keep on the budget side but go Latin, Xulo – which serves awesome quesabirria tacos and spicy, cheesy papas just a short walk from the central station – has our warmest recommendations.

14:00 – And a fika paus

Head over to charming Nytorget and hit up POP Stockholm if you’re still hunting for that perfect look for tonight. Then, continue to the vibrant bar Lykke for some matcha lattes or white sangria. Or try their hot honey burger if you're still looking for lunch options. For another serious fika item to consider at Nytorget, you should walk over to Pärlans. During the summertime, they serve a delicious soft serve with a hot fudge topping that is incredibly smooth. Besides that, Socker Sucker and its puff pastry galore is our top contender if you happen to be near Drottninggatan and if you are over at Djurgården, Slipen Bakery is almost worth the trip alone.

17:00 – Get ready to go to the concert

Time to get back to your hotel and start getting ready for the concert. The best way to get to the venue, Strawberry Arena? Take the commuter train from Södermalm (Stockholm Södra), Stockholm City, or Odenplan straight to Solna Station. Alternatively, you can hop on the subway's Blue Line and get off at Näckrosen, followed by a 15-minute walk. Arriving at the adjacent Mall of Scandinavia is a great option, as the mall is hosting a four-day festival with lots of events leading up to the Bad Bunny concerts. Some good news is that the commuter train capacity has been increased for the concert weekend.

19:00 – The main event: Benito takes Stockholm

Step inside Sweden’s massive national stadium, a hyper-modern venue that holds up to 75,000 screaming fans at maximum capacity.  Finding your spot among tens of thousands of fellow music lovers is an experience all on its own. When that dembow beat drops at "Tití Me Preguntó", the entire arena will be jumping.

23:30 – Did somebody say afterparty?

Don’t want those percussions to stop drumming? Stockholm's nightlife is ready to deliver. If you want to keep the Caribbean and Latin vibes pulsing on the dancefloor, two prime spots are Josefinas on Djurgården and Club Caribe at Biblioteket Live on Söder – perfect for keeping that "Después de la Playa" energy going late into the night.

Just looking for a classic, high-energy nightclub experience instead? Aim for Trädgården or the electric outdoor courtyard at Nosh and Chow. Expect a cover charge at the door and remember to dress sharp.

02:00 – Nattmat – A Late-Night Snack

Feeling peckish? Although Stockholmers are constantly scorned by the rest of the country for having subpar kebab, there are still a few good spots that hit the mark after midnight.

If you spent your post-concert hours partying at Trädgården, then Kebabkungen Skanstull is your ultimate late-night beacon, serving hungry crowds all the way until 4:00 AM. The same goes for the old school Stockholm staple Södergrillen, serving up their burgers in classic styrofoam boxes. Alternatively, the chain Max Burgers is another option with generous opening hours for when you crave some  after midnight-fries.

Day 3: The Wrap-Up

10:30 – Traveling with checked luggage?

Don't spend your last day dragging suitcases over Stockholm's cobblestones. Flying with SAS, Norwegian, Lufthansa or Austrian Airlines? Then you can use the highly convenient luggage check-in service provided by the Arlanda express and drop your bags off in advance at their lounge at Stockholm Central station. From that moment on, your luggage is fully taken care of and sent all the way to your final destination, leaving you completely hands-free to enjoy your final hours in Stockholm.

The best part? The service is included in your train ticket. So when it's time to leave, you can just hop on the train and relax.

11:00 – Brunch time

Time to fuel up and unpack the night before. If you’re looking for a brunch, you’ve got great options; the legendary pan-Asian feast at Berns Asiatiska, the cozy glass patio at Bleck, the scenic Café Klotet, or the chic, high-end setting of Villa Dagmar. Just craving salt and grease? Pom Friterie has the best fries in town (seriously, they're next level). Or if you'd rather explore a new neighborhood, brunch at Junos in Kungsholmen is a favorite as well as Hasselssons in Vasastan for the ultimate fish and chips.

13:30 – Revitalize with one final Stockholm experience

You are probably completely wiped out after the last two days of escapades. Now it’s time to chill out, relax, and recharge your energy before the trip back home.

While a pro move would have been booking a day pass at one of the city's top spas, a fantastic alternative is to pick up some great food to go, grab a picnic blanket, and head straight for a beach or park. Opt for the lively Rålambshovsparken (Rålis) on Kungsholmen or the beach area over at Tantolunden in Södermalm. Park yourself in horizontal mode and just breathe.

Time for departure?

And when it's time to head back to the airport? Simply hop on the Arlanda express. Remember, it’s only 18 minutes to the terminal – plus it runs constantly and has free Wi-Fi. Taking the train gives you the absolute maximum amount of time to relax in the park instead of wasting your final hours sweating in traffic or waiting on a slow bus.

Want to make your trip even smoother? Book your Arlanda express tickets in advance here.

And just like that, the show is over. You've officially conquered the ultimate concert weekend in Stockholm. Safe travels home and we'll see you at the next encore!
