For some of us, having a dessert is an everyday occurrence. But turns out there is a designated day for that sort of thing, a.k.a. National Dessert Day on October 14. Now that you know it exists, we think it is best to celebrate, don't you? Lucky for you (and us), this local shortbread company has just the thing.
Located at the new Time Out Market New York, Union Square, Shortbread Society is ushering in National Dessert Day in the best way. The luxe shortbread business run by chef Scottish Francis—of MasterChef, Chopped and Netflix's Snack vs. Chef fame—is dropping bogo deals on his sweets all day long. There are two flavors on rotation: the Cinnamon Roll with white glaze swirls and the S'mores made with a base of graham cracker shortbread, highland caramel, milk chocolate and a torched topping on mini marshmallows. And because it's buy one, get one, you won't have to choose between them.
The offer is available all day; just walk up to the coffee/pastry window and get snacking!
