With rising Covid-19 coronavirus numbers in Japan and the rest of the world, it’s not only important to stay home, but also to follow some important measures to avoid the further spread of the virus.

Since children don’t always listen to their parents, Toei Animation has created this one-minute long video, in which the popular Straw Hat Pirates from the hit anime 'One Piece' tell youngsters to carefully wash their hands and get a good amount of sleep. The video, which comes along with English subtitles, was uploaded on 'One Piece's official English Twitter account.

The real message, however, is not delivered by the leader of the pack, Monkey D. Luffy, but the crew’s archaeologist Nico Robin, who announces the two most important messages the team has for their fans.

‘First, wash your hands regularly. Second, be sure to get plenty of rest every night.’

At the end of the clip, it’s Monkey D. Luffy who comes in to inspire One Piece fans, reminding them that everyone plays an important role in tackling the virus: ‘Let’s overcome this crisis together! You can do it! You’re all in our crew, too!’
