A Vegetarian Iftar says
Ramadan is a time of reflection, spiritual re-focus, and self-improvement. It is also a time to be mindful about the food we eat and the impact it has on people, animals, and the planet.

Join us for an evening of delicious vegetarian Iftar and a discussion with Registered Dietitian, Nutritionist Nazima Qureshi about the importance of healthy eating through the month of Ramadan and beyond, as well as ethical eating in the Prophetic tradition.

Nazima Qureshi is a Registered Dietitian and a Certified Personal Trainer with a Masters of Public Health in Nutrition and Dietetics. She is the founder of Nutrition by Nazima, a nutrition expert, and educator through partnership opportunities, written communication, workshops, and individual e-counselling.

7:30pm- Arrival Time
8:00pm- Discussion & Q/A
9:00pm- Iftar & Maghrib Prayer
9:30pm- Dinner
10:00pm- Dessert & Tea

$25 Per Ticket - All proceeds go towards Studio.89's Community and Social Justice Programming.
