Ago: Tie Dye Party + Halloween Mask Making says
The AGO's Free After Three programming offers exciting opportunities for youth (ages: 14-25) to experiment with art and ideas in the studio and gallery. Led by local artists within the art education and design community. Programs such as D.I.Y Days, Intro to DJinging and Break Dancing, give young artists a safe place to explore the freedom of creative expression.

Paddy Leung, a Toronto-based multidisciplinary community artist, has designed a series of workshops to inspire, engage and encourage people of all ages to have FUN!!! She will be conducting another two workshops on Tuesdays from 4:00 - 6:00 PM at The AGO. If you're interested save these dates:

In this workshop, you will learn several techniques and processes of tie dying. Tying, dying, and shibori techniques will be explored through immersion dyeing methods. Discover the dyer in you and take home your very own T-shirt! We will have 65 T-shirts to give away! Dying starts at 4! If you're not sure you will make it on time, bring your own fresh cotton T-shirt with you! (Tie dying can get messy, so please dress accordingly for this workshop).

Halloween Mask Making: OCTOBER 18th
With Halloween just around the corner, we are taking this opportunity to explore our inner spooky self, through mask creation and expressive arts. In this hands-on workshop, you will learn simple, yet super fun mask making techniques using cardboard and card stock. Decorate your spooky mask using paper, streamers, and other fun materials! If you haven't started making your Halloween costume, this is your chance to create something unique!

Come on out and bring some friends!! We look forward to having some fun together making art!!
