Algonquin Park is one of the campaigns of CPAWS –OV for many years. This Park is one of the real pearls in Ontario where visitors may observe the typical landscapes and wildlife of the southern taiga zone.
Autumn is exciting time in Algonquin Park. It is expected that we’ll arrive to park around 9:00 am and stay there for the whole day. We plan to visit Spruce Bog Trail, Beaver Trail, Lookout, Visitor Center.
Take your cameras and snack for refreshment. Be prepared in accordance with weather.
Take also snack for forest inhabitants. The Gray Jay or “Whisky Jack” is common near trails this time of the year, it usually lands on the hands if you bring you some snack like, for example, dry cranberries.
Visitors fees at the Park are $20 per car.
