Alec Butler is an award winning filmmaker and playwright, as well as a 2spirit/trans/intersex activist.
Debbie Douglas is the Executive Director of OCASI -the Ontario Council of Agencies Serving Immigrants. Through her work in the NGO sector and particularly at OCASI, Ms. Douglas has highlighted issues of equity and inclusion including race, gender and sexual orientation within the immigration system and promoted the creation of safe, welcoming spaces within the settlement and integration sector. Ms. Douglas worked for many years in frontline, management and executive positions with community based service agencies. As a management consultant she worked both with Non-Governmental Organzations and public institutions on organizational development and change.
Dennis Findlay is a long-time gay activist in the Toronto area. He was a leader in the response to the 1981 Bathhouse Raids and helped found the Right to Privacy Committee, which is featured in the documentary film, Track Two. He is a former teacher, a retired baker, and an urban development activist with a passion for LGBTQ+ history and heritage. He has been a volunteer at the CLGA since 2009.
leZlie lee kam is a world majority, Brown, Trini, Carib, callaloo DYKE & a differently-abled Elder. She's been an OUT Dyke community activist since 1976, and is currently a member of the Senior Pride Network - Advisory Committee, the Patient Caregiver Advisory Table & Health Quality Ontario for the ministry of Health & LTC, the Liaison Committee for the ministry of Seniors Affairs, the Client Carer Advisory Council for the Visiting Homemakers Association, the Community Co-chair of EGALE's National Seniors Advisory Council and a volunteer Trainer with the 519 Older Adult Education Program. She advocate for the rights of Indigenous and queer people of colour and live my life from an anti-oppression perspective. In june 2017 she performed in the historic Buddies Youth/Elders Project and organized the very FIRST Pride Toronto, Seniors, lgbtq, social, intergenerational event. She enjoy a cold beverage and a hot 'LIME' anytime!!
Tim McCaskell is a long-time gay activist. He worked on The Body Politic, Canada’s first national Lesbian and Gay Liberation magazine, the Right to Privacy Committee after the 1981 police raids on gay baths, the Simon Nkodi Anti-Apartheid Committee, AIDS ACTION NOW! and Queers Against Israeli Apartheid.
