Women Grow Networking Events connect aspiring and current professionals in the cannabis industry. Through our monthly events, our members develop authentic relationships via personal contact and networking. While our events are women focused, our networking series attracts both men and women to connect. This months Women Grow features Toronto cannabis activist Joanne Baker aka Puff Mama, who was featured in last month's Toronto Life Magazine as well as a Spring Market. This months sponsors include Queens of Cannabis, Mary Jane's Touch and the Bakers Shop. Vegan hors d'oeuvres catered by Shearer & Dahl. Other Spring Market featured products include Charlene Freedom and Mary's Wellness!

Signature Networking Events occur the first Thursday of every month. Sign up for the Women Grow newsletter for the most up-to-date information on chapter and national events.

SPEAKER INFO
"Joanne Baker was 25, weary of working in restaurants and sick of boozing it up with friends every night. She started smoking weed recreationally, got a job in a comedy club, and began renting halls and putting on her own comedy nights. She discovered two things: people love to laugh and people love pot. A few years later, she found a storefront in Riverside where she could combine the two. The ground floor is a shop where Baker sells Toronto-made incense and candles, locally blown glass pipes, and organic and all-natural rolling papers. Next door is a comedy club where big acts like Eric Andre, Joe Rogan, Robert Kelly and Brendon Walsh have taken the stage."
