Experience artist-led performances and activations taking place within the AGO's new installation "Song Dong's Communal Courtyard." During three-week residencies, Toronto-based artists will transform the installation in new and intimate ways. All performances are free with admission – just arrive early to ensure a spot!

March 30 – April 23: Artist Basil AlZeri performs "Let me tell you about my day, will you tell me about yours?"

Wednesdays (March 30, April 6, 20) 6 – 8 pm
Thursdays (March 31, April 7, 21) 2 – 4 pm
Fridays (April 1, 8, 22) 6 – 8 pm
Saturdays (April 2, 9, 23) 2 – 4 pm
Free with general admission

Basil AlZeri is a visual artist living and working in Toronto, Canada. AlZeri's practice involves the intersection of art, education and community engagement, taking multiple forms such as performance, intervention, and gallery and public installation. AlZeri's work examines the socio-political dynamics of the family and its intersection with cultural practices, drawing on the necessities of everyday life and the visibility of labour as sites of exploration. His work aims to facilitate a space for empathy through gestures of inclusivity and generosity.
