Camargo is a sound exploration project based on instinct, stretching purpose, and sonic discovery. Sounds are created with 8-bit synthesizers, effect pedals used in extreme and un-conventional ways, drum machines, light-induced drone machines, electric guitars and processed acoustic sources which all combine to form a synthetic sound that can range from twisted dance music to electric underwater journeys. Camargo began as a recording project of Matthew Bailey’s (to be released in 2017) but will be performed live for the first time as a duo with Carl Schilde.

Blunt Chunks is a born and raised east-end Torontonian. She spent about three years in Montreal and then dropped out of university and moved back home in 2011 to pursue music. She has performed with numerous Toronto-based music projects since moving home; (ie Bizzarh and Lido Pimienta) Djing, singing back-up vocals, playing synth, or being hype-girl, all the while, writing music and experimenting with new gear at home. She is constantly learning new things and cannot wait to someday record an EPIC album.

"Country Lunker" is an instrumental guitar duet featuring Sam Gleason & Matthew Bailey. Rural boredom lead both these young men to their parents' basements where they spent countless hours jamming to records, toughening finger callouses and chewing on wheat stalks. Now both well-established Toronto sidemen (and good pals), they step into the light for the first time as "Country Lunker" at the Burdock Music Hall. Expect hypnotic thrumming, electromagnetic cooing and harmonic divination with the subtext of: country boy moves to city.
