Coach House Books Fall Launch says
We're dusting off our jackets and retaping our glasses for our fall launch — Revenge of the Book Nerds!

This one's for the biblichor lovers, the 'just-one-more-chapter' insomniacs, the 'don't-crack-the-spine' scolders, typeface freaks and the bury-me-with-my-first-editions bookworms among us.

Come geek out over our fall list (which you can browse right here: and drink a Margarita Atwood or two, all without the fear of being stuffed into a locker.

Readings from:

THE HIDDEN KEYS, the third quincunx novel by ANDRE ALEXIS is a beautiful and beguiling maze of a story inspired by Treasure Island.

THE ISLAND OF BOOKS, written by DOMINIQUE FORTIER and translated by RHONDA MULLINS will take you to Mont. St. Michel, a little island off the coast of Normandy with a library the size of a city.

BALONEY, written by MAXIME BOCK and translated by PABLO STRAUSS, follows an unrelenting quest that takes a poet from Quebec’s Boreal forests to South America.

3 SUMMERS by LISA ROBERTSON is a journey through time and form, told from the heart of three summers spent in rural France.

NIGHT & OX by JORDAN SCOTT will take readers from the basement of words to astral heights.

IN ON THE GREAT JOKE by LAURA BROADBENT blends essayistic poetics, alchemy, translation and necromancy to lend an ear to the dead.

NOTE ON ACCESSIBILITY: The venue has one step at the entrance and bathrooms are in the basement. There is however a McDonald's close by that could be an alternative bathroom if needed.
