Nadine:
Nadine balances her artist practice between promoting awareness of sustainability in food and preservation creating beautiful photographs of pickled and fermented foods as well as selling the fermented foods. While also creating works of art that aim to generate awareness largely around subjects such as domestic abuse, violence, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and Anxiety, inspired by her own experiences and the effects of which they have had on her life. She works with both digital and analogue photography, attempting to uncover and allow people to face the realities of anxiety, showing depictions that fall between narrative lines of beautiful and terrifying.
