Prerequisite: No previous art experience required.

Join us for a day of paper and book fun! In this one-day workshop, learn how to design and craft your own hard cover, hand bound journal. You will learn the basics of collaging covers, and then how to incorporate it into a hand bound book using the Coptic Stitch. We recommend bringing along an apron.


Carolyn Eady of Sprouts Press is a Book Binder, Print Maker, Paper Maker, Drawer and Painter. Carolyn has a Bachelor of Fine Art from OCAD in Toronto and an Advanced Studies Certificate from studying art abroad In Florence, Italy.
