Deep End Weekend says
A creative multi-disciplinary immersion designed to feed your mind and use your body. Learn. Meet. Grow. Take the plunge!

Join dancers trained in Indian classical dance styles, and artists of all disciplines at all stages of their career, for a weekend of stimulating conversations, and joyous, surprising collaborations.

The Deep End Weekend takes place over two days:
Saturday, June 18th, 11 am - 4 pm. A Day in the Life: Leading Canadian artists speak personally about a day in the life of their practice.

Sunday, June 19th, 10 am - 6 pm, performance 7 pm. A Season in a Day (based on an original concept by Gerald Trentham and pounds per square inch): A playful experiment in collaboration with dancers, choreographers, actors, directors, playwrights, poets and musicians, performed before an audience - the very same evening!

The Deep End Weekend is an invitation to consider your artistic practice as contemporary - expressive, versatile, mischievous - and revelatory. Dive in!

Registration for Indian classical dancers opens April 15th; for artists of all artistic backgrounds, registration opens May 15th.

This project is funded by the Canada Council for the Arts. Deepest thanks to Tarragon Theatre, our venue sponsor.
