The Afro Lounge: Designer Chinedu Ukabam invites you to the coolest new spot in town: The Afro Lounge. Order some West African street eats, grab a drink, and play a game of Oware or Ludo. Also, don’t forget to check out the dressing room in the back, you’ll find exclusive pieces from his unreleased Chinedesign summer collection inspired by our exhibition Art, Honour, and Ridicule: Asafo Flags from Southern Ghana. Try them on and strike a pose for the camera!

SUPAFRIK Central: To bring SUPAFRIK to the ROM, founder Chinedu Ukabam has assembled an art-dance-food party. It will feature some new talent as well as frequent collaborators such as DJ Revy B and DJ Deemaks, who will debut a live Afrobeats video mix.

Out of the Vaults: Experience wild encounters with African animals from the ROM's collections.

In Conversation: Explore the narratives of pride, wisdom, and defiance represented in our exhibition Art, Honour, and Ridicule: Asafo Flags from Southern Ghana with Dr. Silvia Forni.

Artxperiential: Is bringing their Black History Month kick off celebration to #FNLROM. Arts come alive with vibrant cultural flare. Experience live entertainment that includes spectacular performances with a mix of African, Caribbean and North American soulful harmonies and a taste of Avant Garde Fashion. Prepare to have your senses awoken and your soul stirred during an unforgettable night of grandeur.
