Enjoy an evening discovering the trees of ancient and contemporary North Africa.

Perfumer Kat Mahon and Tracey TieF, Certified Natural Health Practitioner, will introduce you to frankincense and its role in the 22,000 year old history of Ethiopian civilization and trade.

Ethiopia has lost 98% of its forested regions in the last 50 years. Anarres Natural Health Apothecary has committed to raise $11,400 to fund a tree nursery and plant trees in Ethiopia through Canadian Physicians for Aid and Relief. We have raised $8400 to date and with a donation of $4000 worth of exquisite jewellery, and your help, we will reach our goal!

7pm Come in, or stay, to enjoy our displays and samples of African incenses, essential oils, shea butters and hydrosols. Bid on our Silent Auction items.

7:30pm Talk: Frankincense: Past, Present and Future

8:30pm What Canadian Physicians for Aid and Relief is doing to help restore the forests of Ethiopia, Malawi, Tanzania and Uganda in east Africa.

8:45pm Ethiopian delicacies and Egyptian Blue Lotus Wine served. Last call to bid on Silent Auction items.

9:15pm Silent Auction closes and winners announced. Last chance to buy jewellery with 100% of the proceeds going to plant trees in Ethiopia. Last chance to buy African incenses, essential oils, shea butters and hydrosols with 10% of sales donated.
