TIFF says
Following a screening of Gianfranco Rosi's Fire at Sea — TIFF ‘16 official selection and winner of the Golden Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival — subject experts Prof. Alison Mountz (Wilfrid Laurier University), Prof. Jennifer Hyndman (York University), and Dr. Meb Rashid (Women's College Hospital) will unpack the complex and compounding health issues facing refugees during their migration and resettlement.

A timely, observational account, Fire at Sea bears witness to the arrival of thousands of refugees to Lampedusa, Italy, and considers the short and long-term implications of their journey from a global health perspective.
