ABOUT GALEN HOOKS
Galen Hooks is an LA native who has been in the entertainment industry since the age of 7. Her versatility and experience have rendered her one of the most respected and sought after performers in the business. With a unique artistic voice and approach to dance and choreography, she has created a style that is instantly recognizable and entirely individual. Presently, Galen has worked with over 50 artists, including Janet Jackson, Usher, Chris Brown, The Jonas Brothers, The Pussycat Dolls, Black Eyed Peas, Miley Cyrus,John Legend and Ne-yo. She also modeled extensively for Nike's Dance and Sport Culture lines, including countless catalogs, billboards, and a two-page ad in Vogue magazine. Galen is a dancer, choreographer, and actress in the Hulu web series LXD: Legion of Extraordinary Dancers, which has had groundbreaking performances on So You Think You Can Dance, the prestigious TED Talks, the 2010 Academy Awards and at the Guggenheim New York.
